What happened to Lexa

Lexa was hospitalized for 17 days, four of them in the ICU, with a preeclampsia staff. Due to the severity of the situation, she had to undergo a premature birth on February 2. Three days after birth, little Sofia passed away.

“I started to feel, with each passing day, a little more of the symptoms. I had a headache that was not passing, then a very strong stomach pain. My hand was in a way that was no longer closing. The liver began to go bankrupt. So, I had nowhere to go. Neither for me nor for her, ”Lexa said in an interview with Dr. Drauzio Varella, at Fantástico, at the end of last month.

During the chat with the doctor, the artist remembered the first moments with Sofia: “My daughter was born with everything I was feeling, with the kidneys committed, with the liver, the altered pressure. Very little, but very beautiful. She weighed less than 500 grams. The first time I carried her, she had had two cardiac arrests, ”he said.

Then Lexa said she tried to get the pregnancy to the fullest so that Sofia would be well: “They said like this, ‘look, I need to tell you that, but in medicine we will always choose the mother.’ And then, I said ‘I’ll go to my limit, if possible’. I kissed death trying to save my daughter, ”he said.
