Opposition center-right party wins parliamentary election in Greenland

Nuuk/Washington – in the middle of the geopolitical struggle around Greenland, their residents apparently voted in favor of changing power. In the election of the parliament on Tuesday, the opposition center-right party democratite achieved 29.9 percent of the vote and emerges from the final result. The party supports a slow approach to the independence of Denmark. The Naleraq, also oppositional, which strives for rapid independence, achieved 24.5 percent.
