Bulgarian fertilizer for rose bushes that improves flowering
Few people know that Bulgaria can be called the capital of roses. This country is famous for rose oils and it is the roses that are used for many perfumes, including the famous fragrances Channel No 5. Kazanłyk is a city in the central part of Bulgaria, which is the world capital of these elegant flowers. On the first weekend of June, even a rose festival takes place here, and at that time tourists can admire beautifully flowering species such as Rosa Damascena and Rosa Alba. A friend of the Bulgarian gardener told me that the most popular way to fertilize rose bushes in Bulgarka is Epsom salt.
Epsom salt is a real game changer W. It is rich in many valuable minerals and vitamins. It contains, among others, nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus, i.e. a golden trio improving flowering, as well as a proper growth of many plants. Sulfur contained in bitter salt supports the production of amino acids, enzymes and vitamins, it also plays a role in creating proteins in plants. Epsom salt used in the care of rose shrubs improves their flowering and makes more flowers appear in the summer. They are more intense and resistant to many diseases.
How to use Epsom salt for rose shrubs?
Epsom salt is recommended as a fertilizer for rose shrubs growing in the soil. So before you get on fertilization, check the soil pH. Bitter salt is also recommended for magnesium deficiencies in plants. This condition is most often manifested by yellowing of the leaves (with constantly green veins) and slowing down flowering processes. In this case, Epsom salt can be used as fast and effective fertilizer. All you have to do is spread about 1 cup of bitter salt around each bush. This fertilizer is best used in early spring or autumn.
Epsom salt in gardening is recommended not only for decorative bushes. With its help, you can deter snails from the garden, fertilize the lawn and conifers, and even use as an insecticide.
