Budget rapporteur (PLN 26/2024), Senator Angelo Coronel (PSD-BA), stated that the pending issues related to the Gas Vale and the Step have already been resolved. He made this statement after meeting with the ministers of the Civil House, Rui Costa, and the Secretariat of Institutional Relations, Gleisi Hoffmann, on Wednesday (12).
According to Angelo Colonel, the government must send to Congress, whenever necessary, specific laws for the release of freshness values.
The senator also reported that the government suggested cutting some expenses to enable the necessary adjustments. He said Bolsa Familia can have a cut of about $ 8 billion, and that these cuts will aim at the beneficiaries who receive the values irregularly.

Amendments
Colonel stressed that the commission amendments were preserved. According to the rapporteur, the release of amendments as directed by the Federal Supreme Court (STF) should help pacify the relations between executive, legislature and judiciary.
