Lady Gaga commented on her show in Copacabana during an interview with the American show ‘The Howard Stern Show’. A cut of the moment she details her return to Brazil viralized on social networks on Wednesday (11).
When asked if she was receiving a cachet to perform for free in Rio de Janeiro, the artist disconcerted, but talked about expectations. “I’m just excited to sing, you know? I wanted. The Free Show of Lady Gaga on Copacabana Beachin Rio de Janeiro, will take place on May 3, 2025. The event, which has been nicknamed as Gagacabana, is a partnership with the Government of Rio de Janeiro and Banco Santander, among other sponsors.
It will be the second time Lady Gaga has performed in Brazil, after a period of 13 years. In 2012, she was in the country with the tour ‘Born This Way Ball’ and did shows in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Porto Alegre.
The singer’s show takes place a year after Madonna introduced herself in the same place for an approximate audience of 1.6 million people. In Rio the artist ended the “The Celebration Tour”.
