The level of the Acre River recorded a significant increase throughout today in Rio Branco, reaching 14.24 meters at 9pm. The last measurement of the Municipal Civil Defense, made at 18h, maintained the stable level at 14.21 meters. However, the latest measurements point out that there has been an increase in the last hours.

In the morning, the river level was 14.21 meters at 6am, retreating to 14.19 meters at 9am. This value remained stable throughout the day, but in the afternoon, the level rose to 14.21 meters at 15h and remained in the same brand until 18h. However, the increase was remarkable at night, with the river reaching 14.24 meters at 9pm.
To date, 13 neighborhoods in the capital have been hit by the waters and 21 families have been removed from their homes. Two shelters are being kept active to welcome the homeless: one at Maria Lucia Municipal School, in the Morada do Sol neighborhood, and another at Madre Hidelbranda school, in neighborhood 15, which currently houses 29 indigenous people.
