After the third phase of the Libertadores 2025the next step will be group phase. In total, 32 teams will be in it, divided into eight groups with four teams. THE Group draw will happen next MondayMarch 17th. The time has not yet been released.
The draw will have four pots. In pot 1, will be Botafogo, champion of Libertadores 2024, and the seven teams with the best placement in the ranking of Conmebol that are classified.
The pots 2, 3 and part of the 4 were also defined based on the Conmebol ranking. In pot 4, however, also enter the four teams coming from the third phase.
Teams from the same country cannot fall into the same group. However, there is one exception: clubs from the third phase can go to a group that has a team from the same country.
Another question already defined is that Botafogo will be in Group A.

A Commebol has not yet released the awards of Libertadores 2025. The information must be revealed on the group stage draw day on March 17.
