Five professional firefighters from Považská Bystrica with two intervention vehicles intervened on Thursday (13 March) in the afternoon in a traffic accident of three vehicles on the D1 motorway near Považská Bystrica. Three people were injured. The spokesman of the Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Corps (HaZZ) in Trenčín Marián Petrík informed about it.
After the accident of two vans and one passenger motor vehicle, the cars partially blocked both lanes. Three people who were outside the affected cars were injured in the event.
“HaZZ members secured the scene of a traffic accident and, together with health rescuers, provided injured persons for pre -medical assistance and initial treatment. The injured persons were then placed in ambulances and transported to the hospital for further treatment, “ said the spokesman.
Firefighters carried out fire-safety measures and captured, neutralized with an absorption substance and They removed operating fluids from the road. After documenting the accident, HaZZ members assisted when loading a crashed car on the towing vehicle.
