The mother of the mayor of Sena Madureira, Ghelen Diniz, and state deputy, Gene Diniz, Professor Dneves Diniz, who was hospitalized in the ITO UTO, in Rio Branco, since March 7, due to kidney complications, died on Friday (14). She had been receiving medical treatment about two years ago after being victimized with a stroke.

Dneves, who dedicated decades of his life to education, was one of the best known and respected math teachers of Sena Madureira. Since she got sick for over two years, she had been intensive care from doctors and family. Lately, she was being treated at her residence where a structure for therapeutic care was set up.
Dneves is also the mother of two more children, Geandre and Gisele, and belongs to one of the largest and most traditional families in the Iaco River region, being sister of radio broadcaster Eduardo Diniz, the popular Idel and “Lord of Iaco”.
