O It has suspended the marketing of “Natural Senas” cosmetic products, due to breach of the requirements established in the Cosmetics Regulation in the European Union, according to a circular informative of the drug authority.
The National Authority of Medicine and Health Products (Infarmed) refers to the circular, released on Thursday, which found, following the assessment of a complaint, the existence in the national cosmetic market of the brand “feels natural senas”, which did not meet various requirements of regulation (CE) 1223/2009 of 30 November.
According to Infarmed, the irregularities identified are in the articles related to the “responsible person”, “obligations of the responsible person”, “good manufacturing practices”, “security assessment”, “product information file”, “sampling and analysis”, “notification” and “labeling”.
“From the foregoing, the brand cosmetic products feels natural senas, are not conforming to applicable legislation, so they should not be placed on the market, marketed or used,” warns the authority in the medicine in the circular published in his ‘site’.
