Only 27% say President Lula’s work as “good” or “great”; 30% evaluated as “regular”

The research released this Thursday (13.FEV.2025) shows that 41% of Brazilians evaluate the government of the president (PT) like “roomy”Or“bad”. On the other hand, only 27% say they consider government work as “bom”Or“excellent”While 30% evaluated the petista administration as“regularAnd 1% couldn’t answer. The results are practically identical to those of the research Power . In the survey, 40% of Brazilians had a negative evaluation of the Lula administration, and 24%, one positive, while 33% said the executive’s work was “regular”.

This is the government’s evaluation, according to ipssos-Ipec:

  • bad/bad – 41% (34% in Dec.2024);
  • regular – 30% (30% in ten.2024);
  • Great/good – 27% (34% in ten.2024);
  • They don’t know – 1% (2% in ten.2024).

The survey also evaluated the level of confidence in the President of the Republic. According to Ipsos-Ipec, this index has fallen 5 percentage points since September 2024, when 45% of Brazilians said they trust Lula. Today only 40% say they trust the president, while 58% said they did not trust.

2,000 voters were interviewed in 131 cities in Brazil from March 7 to 11, 2025. The margin of error is 2 percentage points, more or less.
