Following the announcement of the European Union of the possible application of American whiskey tariffs, Donald Trump was soon reacting. In the way of counteramea, it says it will impose 200% rates on witty wines and beverages.
“Upon entering the market they will have to pay this fee, so in the fund who will pay is the US consumer. (…) A wine sold at $ 15 and that is going to $ 40… the consumer will not consume so often ”, stresses winemaker Carlos Teixeira.
