A 48 -year -old CET (Traffic Engineering Company) agent died on Thursday (13.mar.2025) in a possible attempted robbery at the intersection of Osiris Magalhães Street with Francisco Morato, in the region of Chácara do Jockey.
The criminal demanded that the CET agent deliver his belongings, stating that he would shoot the victim. “Go, ass …, give this po …, give this po …, bro, I will shoot your face, gives the crap”. The information was released by Band.
The action was recorded by the body camera used by the agent at the time of the episode. In another angle, the 2 men involved in the crime were seen fleeing the scene. According to witnesses, the victim entered a body fight with the suspect, who fired 4 times against the agent.

The Traffic Engineering Company regretted the death of the agent, identified as José Domingos da Silva, stating that the “CET family is dismayed, sympathizes and supports the family of agent Domingos”.
“The Traffic Engineering Company deeply regrets the death of traffic agent José Domingos da Silva, on the morning of Thursday, 13/3, while performing his duties in support of the mobility and safety of road users.
