Heaven, help! – Maria Lazar’s “Hell on Erden” at the Schauspielhaus Graz

In the mid-1930s, Maria Lazar with her comedy was also in the end of the world from Jura Soyfer to Friedrich Dürrenmatt Hell on earth enrolled. The Viennese writer (1895–1948) from Jewish family gave her only explicit coordinates: “Location: a country of western democracy, time: before the outbreak of the next World War”.
