The contract involves the acquisition of 39,987 hectares of land in an area located in the municipality of São Desidério (BA) currently operated by the SLC Fazenda Paladino subsidiary, for R $ 723 million, and another of 7,835 hectares in the municipality of Unaí (MG), an area operated by Pamplona Farm, for R $ 190 million.
Payments will be made in two equal installments, with the first part settled in the signing of the contract and the rest, in the case of the area in Bahia, in March 2026, and in the case of assets in Minas Gerais, after exceeding certain “previous conditions,” said SLC.
“In addition to the land, all the infrastructure existing on the farm (Pamplona) were also acquired, such as silos, housing, administrative headquarters, warehouses and others,” the company added to the statement.
