United States Vice President JD Vance said in an interview on Friday that Elon Musk made some mistakes while working on the efforts of the Government Efficiency Department (Doge) to cut spending and reformulate government agencies.
“Elon himself said that sometimes you do something, make a mistake and then undo the mistake. I am accepting the mistakes, ”Vance told NBC News in the interview held on Friday.
“I also think you have to correct these mistakes quickly. But I am also very aware of the fact that there are many good people who work in government – many people who are doing a very good job. And we want to try to preserve as much as possible to what works in government, while we eliminate what doesn’t work, ”said the vice president.
It is one of the first times a high White House employee admitted that Musk’s made some mistakes.
Musk joined President Donald Trump aboard the Air Force Um Florida on Friday, where the president will spend the weekend on his property in Mar-lago.
