(Reuters)-Unipar () announced on Friday the gradual resumption of operations of the factory of its UNIPAR INDUPA subsidiary in Bahía Blanca, Argentina, after a week of stoppage.
Plant operations were interrupted on March 7 and began resuming on Friday, with testing and adjustments in production programming, by restoring the supply of strategic inputs, Unipar said in a statement.
The Argentine port town of Bahía Blanca, where is the Unipar Indupa factory, was hit by heavy rain last week.
Unipar reported earlier this week that the plant’s operations had paralyzed due to the Severo climate event, which caused floods and devastation in the region and affected the entire supply and locomotion logistics chain.
