At least 50 Discoteca fire dead in Macedonia

A fire in a disco in Kocani, North Macedonia, caused at least 50 dead and more than 90 injured, according to local media.

The fire began at dawn on Sunday at the Pulse Club in Kocani, a city about 100 km from the capital, Skopje. It is estimated that about 1,500 people would be on site to watch a concert. On stage were used pyrotechnic effects.

Images published on social networks show the burning building, with smoke climbing in the sky.

Local media say at least 50 people may have died and many other wounds, but there is no official confirmation.
