Can Australia GP be postponed?
The International Federation of Automobile (FIA) has not yet positioned itself on the situation of the GP. According to the vehicle La Gazzetta Dello Sport, a worse in the rain is expected to be worse in Melbourne. Therefore, according to the Italian newspaper, the F1 and the Australian organization of the event are evaluating change the time of the race compared to the initially marked (1h, Brasília). Speculation tells that the test can be postponed and advanced.

In 2024, something similar happened in the GP of São Paulo. Due to heavy rains in Interlagos at the time, the classification, which would take place on Saturday, was postponed. The dispute was held only on Sunday at 7:30 am.
Because of this, the race, which traditionally happens at 14h in the state capital, also changed time, being advanced to 12:30.

In the classification, which took place at dawn on Saturday (15/03) in Brazil, the starting grid for the Sunday race was defined. McLaren’s Lando Norris got the first pole of the season, with the time of 1: 15,096.
Running at home, Australian Oscar Piostri, also from McLaren, was 2nd, with 1: 15,180. Max Verstappen, from Red Bull Racing, closed the top three, with 1: 15,481. Brazilian Gabriel Bortoleto will start from 15th place, two positions ahead of teammate, Nico Hülkenberg.
