Governor of Sao Paulo said he will “fight” for amnesty to those who are arrested on January 8 and that pushing Bolsonaro out of the ballot box is “fear of losing the election”

The governor of São Paulo, (Republicans), said on Sunday (16.mar.2025) during an act in Copacabana, Rio, that the project that amazes those arrested by January 8 will be based and approved in Congress. “I want to see who will have the courage to oppose”declared.

“It is correct that we secure amnesty for those innocents who did nothing. And we will fight, we will guarantee that. Let’s ensure that this project is based, approved and I want to see who will have the courage to oppose. And you can be sure that we will get the votes ”he said.

According to Tarcísio, the people arrested for involvement in extremist acts in the Praça dos Três Powers, in Brasilia, on January 8, 2023, are “Innocent that reberam uprooted penalties”.

He cited the case of 38 -year -old hairdresser Débora Rodrigues dos Santos, Pichar “lost, Mané” (in reference to the sentence of Minister Roberto Barroso) in the statue “The Justice”, which is in front of the STF (Supreme Court) headquarters.

The governor said that the reason for the ineligibility of the former president (PL) is the fear of losing the elections.
