Former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) stated on Sunday (16.mar.2025) that PSD national president Gilberto Kassab supports the amnesty bill to the January 8 prisoners. The acronym of the former mayor of São Paulo is one of the most influential in Congress, with 44 deputies, 15 senators and 3 ministries in the government of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT).
Currently, Kassab is secretary of institutional relations of the government of São Paulo, who is headed by one of Bolsonaro’s leading allies, the Governor of State Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans).
