Nearly 24,000 voters may have title canceled due to lack of voting; deadline to regularize is until Wednesday

In Acre, about 24,000 voters who have not attended in the last three elections at risk of having the voter title canceled if they do not regularize their situation until May 19. The Regional Electoral Court (TRE-AC) reported that these voters were considered faults for not justifying the absence or paying the corresponding fine.

Most voters in this condition are in Rio Branco, with more than 12,400 people, but there are also significant numbers in the municipalities of Cruzeiro do Sul, Tarauacá, Sena Madureira and Feijó. According to the General Court of Electoral Justice, regularization can be done by the TSE website or directly in the electoral notaries.

Voters can consult their electoral situation by accessing the online platform or going to the notary’s offices between 7am and 1pm, Monday to Friday. For more information about addresses, you can access the TRE-AC website. The information is from G1 Acre.
