The rocket left Friday (14), at 20h04 and the rescue took place this Sunday at 1:35 am. Astronauts were rescued by a small orbital laboratory hatch. A new crew boarded.

NASA spoke more than once to ensure that the delay did not pose risks to astronauts. Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore are expected to start the return home from Wednesday (19).

What happened?

Astronauts would visit the space station and should return after a week of the Crew-10 mission. However, due to technical problems with the Experimental Starliner spacecraft, manufactured by Boeing. And then postponed until this Sunday, facing the delay in launching a new capsule for EEI.

The CREW-10 mission is the tenth operation of astronaut transport to the international space station, governed by Spacex by Elon Musk.
