The next Astérix and Obélix comic adventure will take these two characters for the first time to the former Lusitania, a territory that is today Portugal. The book leaves on October 23rd and on the provisional cover is already seen the Portuguese sidewalk.

To the 41st album, the story – passed in the time of the Romans – will put the two intrepid Gauls in former Lusitania and will make several references to the history, culture and “archetypes” of Portugal.
In the French press was released a provisional cover of the new album, entitled “Asterix in Lusitania”with the pair of characters setting a typical Portuguese sidewalk.
Last December, Editora Éditions Albert René had already announced that, on the 41st album, Astérix and Obélix would leave the irreducible Gaulesa village for a trip.
“I looked for a destination where our friends were never, but also a place where I wanted to dive while writing,” the Argumentista said at the time FabCaro quoted by the publisher.

Astérix and Obélix as Viriato
