The Bratislava police continues to investigate the case of the death of a homeless person, who was found on 30 January at one of the shopping centers in Bratislava. The investigator is currently waiting for the results of several expert opinions necessary for the decision. This was stated for TASR by the Bratislava regional police spokesman Michal Szeiff. “We will provide more information on the case as soon as the procedural situation in the investigation will allow,” Szeiff added.

They found the Ukrainian citizen with head injuries in the early morning hours on Thursday (30 January) near the shopping center in Bratislava, and succumbed to injuries the next day. Police have initiated criminal prosecution for the crime of killing.

In this context, the Niva shopping center rejected the publicized claims about the violence of the security service on a homeless man. The center claimed that the man was detained twice in one day and handed it over to the police every time “in full health”. CCTV records are also proven. At the same time, the Office of the Inspection Service ruled out that the police would be involved in his killing.
