In response to an Old Twitter X user, he said that the occupation of humans on Mars “will happen in the 2nd or 3rd Language Launch window, ie about 5 to 7 years.”

Last weekend, Musk announced that his rocket, Starship will fly to Mars in late 2026 with Tesla’s Optimus humanoid robot on board, and said flights with humans can come true from 2029.

Starship is essential for Musk’s plan to colonize Mars. At 123 meters high, it is the largest and most powerful rocket in the world, surpassing the statue of freedom for almost 30 meters. NASA intends to use a modified version of Starship for the Artemis program, aiming to bring astronauts to the moon this decade.

However, before performing these missions, Spacex needs to prove that megafoguete is safe, reliable and capable of replenishing orbit, essential for deep space travel.

In its last test, Spacex suffered an explosion, although it successfully recovered the propeller in the orbital test. The failure was similar to the previous test: minutes after takeoff, the top of the rocket lost control and fell.

The live video was abruptly cut, and images of burning wreckage over the Bahamas viralized. This was the eighth unmanned orbital test. FAA requires an investigation before new tests.

Despite setbacks, Spacex’s “Fast Learning” “Fast Fast Fast Fast Learning” approach to the leadership of launching services.

However, Musk’s proximity to Donald Trump and his influence on regulatory agencies generate concerns about possible conflicts of interest. During the Biden government, Musk had disagreements with FAA, criticizing the agency for excessive safety and environmental regulations.

Trump, in his inaugural speech in January, promised that during his term, the United States flag would be stuck on Mars.
