The Central Bank Economic Activity Index (IBC-BR), flagship of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), registered high 0.90% In January compared to the previous month, according to data released by the BC on Monday (17).
The expectation in Reuters research for the month’s result was a rise of 0.22%.
The IBC-BR is built based on proxies representing the volume rates of agriculture, industry and service sector, as well as the tax volume index on production.
