The spread is never enough! They are cheap and feed a lot of hungry necks. Try improved fish, which celebrates success in many Czech family.
Nutrition therapists say you should eat one (preferably two) fish a week. Unfortunately, in the Czech Republic the fish menu is rather a marginal matter, so most of the “fish -eating” is dependent on frozen fillets, or the chilled salmon offer, which is quite expensive. “If I were alone, I would enjoy it hilly. But if you budget a portion of such salmon for a four-member, if you do not say a five-member family, it will be hellishly expensive, ”says Mrs. Jana of Pilsen, who cooks for three children. A lot of Czech families have a similar situation. Are you also one of them?

Pissed -fingered
“Sea fish are quite important in the diet because they are a welcome source of omega-3 fatty acids and iodine,” says a nutritional specialist, adding that their meat is particularly suitable for children who obtain the necessary nutrients for their healthy development. Many Czech families compensate for a fish diet with a fast food variant called fish fingers. Unfortunately, this “quickie” is not as nutritious as it seems. It contains only 55 % of meat (the rest is only flour, bread crumbs) and is also heat treated so that it is “suitable for a pan” or into a fritter and fry. As a result, only more calories will be added to the meal… and that’s a shame.
Canned health
“It is much better if you buy canned tuna, salmon, sardines, sled or mackerel. This gives you a portion of high-quality proteins and at the same time omega-3 fatty acids that promote heart and joint health, ”advises the expert. And he’s right. It is not in vain that there has been a popular sardine spread in Czech households for generations, which is cheap, maintenance and feeding all household members. We offer it to you today in an improved version. And here’s…
Great spread
Open two canned sardines. Pour excess fat and crush them in a bowl with a fork. Add two finely chopped boiled eggs and four pickled cucumbers to the mixture. Finally, soften the spread with a teaspoon of mustard and 100 g of mayonnaise (in the case of a low -fat variant you can confuse for yoghurt or cottage cheese). If you want a denser consistency, you can still throw the chopped onion. Mix everything, season with salt, pepper and you’re done! Then just lubricate the spread on the bread and decorate with fresh vegetables.
