The first -level warning of the wind is concerned All Bratislava, Nitra and Trnava regions, several districts of the Košice region and districts of Prešov, Vranov nad Topľou, Myjava, Nové Mesto nad Váhom and Trenčín. The wind in the given locations can reach a speed of 65 to 70 kilometers per hour, up to 85 kilometers per hour.
It can also be more windy in the mountains. Meteorologists issued a first level warning for the districts of Banská Bystrica, Brezno, Poprad, Dolný Kubín, Liptovský Mikuláš, Martin, Námestovo, Tvrdošín and Ružomberok. Snow languages and snowdrifts are also threatened in northern Slovakia on Monday. The first level warnings apply to most of the territory of the Prešov and Žilina regions as well as the districts of Spišská Nová Ves, Púchov and Považská Bystrica.
