Astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore return to Earth on Tuesday (18.Mar.2025), after 9 months at ISS (International Space Station). The amerysing should take place on the coast of Florida (USA), at 6:57 pm GMT). It will be transmitted by NASA, the US space agency.
The 2 arrived at ISS aboard Boeing’s Spacenave Starliner in June 2024 and should stay for about 10 days. However, technical failures prevented the capsule from bringing them back. The Starliner came back without crew.
During the 9 months they spent at ISS, Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore did scientific research and worked on routine maintenance, along with the other space station astronauts.
The launch of the capsule to seek astronauts was held on Friday (14.mar) at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. After a 29 -hour trip, the capsule arrived at ISS on Sunday (16.mar).
