The state deputy took over on Saturday (15) the leadership of the NA (Legislative Assembly of the State of São Paulo), the first time a woman runs the party bench at the home.
The official announcement will take place this Tuesday (18), at Alesp. Werner will replace Caio França in office. In addition to them, the bench also has Valdomiro Lopes, who continues as vice-leader.
In the first term, the parliamentarian is autistic, having been diagnosed late. She is the mother of a teenager with the same condition. The parliamentarian adopts as one of the flags the defense of people with disabilities.
Werner criticizes the low representation of women at Alesp – from 94 seats, only 24 are occupied by deputies.
“In an environment that is still as masculine as that of party policy and in a parliament where we are not even 30% that the legislation imposes for women’s candidacies, it is still a victory a woman, and even more a woman with disabilities, leading a party as historical as the PSB,” he says.
