In the town of Hnúšťa in the district of Rimavská Sobota there was a large fire in the local car service on Tuesday afternoon. After the fire of the car, the flames spread to operation and other vehicles, 31 firefighters intervened. TASR informed the spokeswoman of the Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Corps (HaZZ) in Banská Bystrica Júlia Zelenáková.
Firefighters were called to fire in the local car service in Hnúšťa after 2 pm. “It was a fire of a passenger car from which the fire was extended to other cars, a car service building, vehicles in front of the car service and then to the side building,” Zeleňáková approached.
There were 31 firefighters from Hnúšťa, Rimavská Sobota, Revúca, Poltár, Zvolen, Tornale and Banská Bystrica. The management officers of the Regional and District Directorate of HaZZ or the investigator of the causes of fires were also called. “Shortly after 3 pm, the fire was located and disposed of before 6 pm,” added Greenakova.
