  • O eclipse total yes take It happened on Friday (14/3).
  • A phenomenon like this It hasn’t happened since 2022.
  • It should be repeated in September 2025 and can be seen only in some regions of Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.
  • No Brazil, according to the NASA calendar.
  • A total eclipse is the result of a rare and perfect alignment between the earth, the moon and the sun.

Blue Ghost was in the right place, at the right time and managed to observe the earth slide in front of the moon, completely covering the sun to the total eclipse.

“This is the first time in history that a commercial company operates actively on the moon and can observe a total solar eclipse, where the earth blocks the sun and projects a shadow on the lunar surface,” Firefly Aerospace said in a statement published on the Mission Blog.
