Delayed budget
The bill with the budget law should have been voted in 2024, but deputies and senators left the decision to 2025 and entered the “White recess”, as the informal holidays is called.
Without approved budget, the executive only has monthly with a twelfth (1/12 grandma) of the amount he has to fund the public machine. This Standard is in the Budgetary Guidelines Law (LDO) and prevents the paralysis of the Union’s public services, since the rule ensures the payment of expenses such as salaries, social charges and debt.
