Criminal “Bumbar” hides on the bank roof and is arrested in SC

Two men were arrested after trying to break into a bank branch in the center of Guaramirim, Santa Catarina, at dawn on Monday (17).

The Military Police were fired and, upon arriving at the scene, found that the suspects had invaded the bank and damaged the monitoring cameras.

The first police officers arrived at the scene positioned themselves at the back of the agency, where they heard sledgehammers from the interior of the establishment.

The reinforcement was triggered and, by surrounding the main entrance, one of the suspects tried to escape by climbing the structure of the air conditioners and hiding on the roof.

The other man chose to stay inside the agency without trying to escape. Faced with the refusal to surrender, police from Joinville were also mobilized.

With the support of the reinforcement, the police entered the agency and arrested one of the suspects.

The second man, who was still on the roof, was then captured. Both have several criminal tickets.

The 39 -year -old, who wore electronic anklet, had already been convicted of theft and theft. The two men were referred to the competent authorities for legal proceedings.
