The mayor of Rio Branco, Tião Bocalom, used his social networks to show the hard work he has done at the Water Treatment Station (ETA), one of the main responsible for the distribution of water in the city. In a video, the mayor shares a moment where Maria Cecilia, 5, expresses her father’s longing for a video connection during the long workday.

“Look, his daughter who is missing him because he is only here taking care of the cleaning and storage of these bombs to make everything right. Back, do you see? She is begging Dad to return home, ”said Bocalom in the video, demonstrating the need for continuity in efforts to solve supply problems.

The video generated several reactions on social networks/Photo: Reproduction

Bocalom also asked residents for patience as long as the water supply situation is regularized. The publication generated various reactions among netizens.

While many praised the mayor’s commitment and the dedication of the workers involved in the process, others questioned the lack of immediate results, especially in neighborhoods where supplies remain compromised. Many also highlighted the efforts of the city’s servers, drawing attention to the importance of valuing those who are actually working in the field.

Despite the criticism, Mayor Bocalom continues to solve the supply problems and thanked the workers involved, recognizing the difficulty of the task.
