The deadline for registration runs until March 31, and the whole process will be coordinated by a committee designated by SEE. The selection aims to ensure the offer of literacy classes in 22 municipalities of Acre, focusing on classes in both urban and rural areas.
The work will be done for 12 months, from 2025 to 2026, and the selected will have attributions such as pedagogical material production, student monitoring and participation in continued formations, according to the announcement. The performance of literacy teachers will be voluntary and will not generate employment with the government.
Candidates with at least 18 years, high school conclusion and prior experience in the literacy area may apply. Entries will be exclusively online and must be accompanied by documents such as Certificate of Criminal Background and Proof of Education.
In addition to the pedagogical activities, literacy teachers will be responsible for mobilizing the community, ensuring the minimum presence of students in the classes and, when necessary, conducting home visits. The notice also specifies the obligations of the selected and the criteria for granting bags.
