The start was given for another F1 season, with many new faces, including a Brazilian face, Gabriel Bortoleto, who did not finish the inaugural race in Australia.
In a reporting effort, this humble scribe managed to stay awake to watch the GP in the band. And I was surprised to notice that the narration would be, and it was, by Sérgio Maurício.
Owner of slogans like “Tá Camido” and “Na Capricho”, Maurício called Twitter a few weeks ago to say that Mrs Erika Hilton (PSOL-SP), trans and black, was a “human fake news”.
He even said that his account was hacked before admitting that he was the author of the sentence. Without Galvão, the station has again had Sérgio Maurício, forgiven by owner Johnny Saad, gentleman who probably does not call “who else has been offended.”
It lacked (a lot) whim to the band and all involved.
With half wet track, half dry, half wet, half dry, the race itself has been able to be at the same time good, having several disputes and the most predictable result of all: Victory by Lando Norris.
The year 2025 begins as ended 2024, with Norris and McLaren orange-papaya. Vice in the race, four -time champion Max Verstappen threatened.
Norris’s companion Oscar Pastri suffered the curse of the Australians running at home. He was second when he rode – because of the wet track – and fell to the end of the platoon. Ended in a honorable ninth place.
I saw the race shortly after marathoning the seventh season of Netflix’s “Driving for Living” series, which portrays what happened last year.
It is curious to see the gang of 2024 and think that next season will have a great revamped, full of new stickers, like Bortoleto; Or Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes), who has already faced an episode, with a face of who will be the teen protagonist of the next “Spider-Man”.
And as Brazilians do not know how to play, I imagine that next season, with Bortoleto, will beat audience records – what happened recently with João Fonseca or Fernanda Torres. It’s good for Netflix to prepare an episode just for the young man, is the tip.
Interestingly, this last season of streaming Pinta Norris as a guy full of insecurities in the F1 circus who likes to enjoy life – the opposite of what happens with nine arrogant pilots. Arrogance is part of the profession.
The season, like the last, also has no testimonials from Lewis Hamilton or Verstappen, our evil favorite, who has said that the series is a fiction work, which distorts the truth.
Fiction or documentary, the series may be pointed out as one of the factors for increasing the category public in recent years.
