Undecuted MPs Samuel Migaľ and Radomír Šalitroš reached an agreement after negotiations, which will allow them to further support the government’s policy statement while maintaining emphasis that both the government and parliament work first of all for people. They stated this in their statement on the social network. They stressed that they were never their functions or personal benefits, but about concrete results. Therefore, they do not only want to criticize, but also to take responsibility.

Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) signed an agreement with Migaľ and Šalitroš on Tuesday, which creates the conditions for securing a stable majority of the government coalition in the National Council of the Slovak Republic. He will inform about the next procedure in the next few hours and days. Fico also thanked the deputy for his voice-SD Ján Ferenčák for accessing the situation.
In January, Migaľ and Šalitroš were excluded from his voice-SD, the head of the party Matúš Šutaj Eštok described them as blackmills who did not follow the party’s values. Ferenčák remained in the party. A few days ago, Migaľ met with the leader of the opposition PS Michal Šimeček, with whom he also talked about what topics they connect and what they divide.
The Prime Minister negotiated with a group of dissatisfied Members in connection with ensuring their support to the government. After the amendment of the coalition agreement, the voice-SD surrendered the Ministry of Investments, which passed under Smer-SD. The post of Minister of Investment was to be negotiated with MEPs around Migal.
