Nestlé rescues the classic recipe from the 90s of the hobby cookie and cause nostalgia

After intense demonstrations and requests from fans, Nestlé announced the return of the iconic hobby cookie, now under the name “Childhood Sabor Passtempo”. The company claimed to have heard the voice of consumers, who for years called for the return of the revenue that conquered Brazil with its original flavor, crispness and characteristic filling.

The relaunch refers to the striking flavors of the 1990s and 2000s, when the hobby was part of the daily life of thousands of Brazilians. With 30 years of tradition, the brand, present in more than 20 million homes, decided to revisit and update the formula to meet both the current expectations of the palate and the nostalgic requests of its audience.

“Understanding the preference of our audience was fundamental to reach the new hobby recipe”

The decision to restore old revenue came after research that indicated consumers’ preference for the 2000s version, considered the most striking and unforgettable. “Understanding the preference of our audience was fundamental to reach the new hobby recipe. We work with our factory to deliver the taste they have asked us so much in recent years. The result is a recipe similar to the classic, bringing back that nostalgic flavor that the public has asked us so much, ”said Luigi Segatto, Nestlé Marketing Marketing Manager.

The new version has already begun to be made available at the main points of sale, promising to reconnect generations and reaffirm Nestlé’s commitment to the quality and tradition that always marked its products.
