While the Trump administration presses to end the Russian war against Ukraine, North Korean officials are developing plans to maintain a military alliance with Russia even after the conflict ends.
A North Korean source recently declared to the that the Pyongyang position is that its military strategy is not influenced by specific events. This position suggests that North Korea intends, fundamentally, to continue developing its military alliance with Russia.
And, as a consequence, North Korea remains willing to respond immediately if Russia requests additional troops. “The position of the Workers Party is that our soldiers will remain next to the Russians in the last trenches, until the last moment, when blood is spilled in the war,” the source told the same medium.
Because of this, some weapons in the provinces of Pyongan del Norte and Jagang have begun to operate emergency at 24 hours. These facilities usually produce short -range ballistic missiles and multiple launcher, so the increase in activity seems to be related to weapons exports to Russia.
In addition, North Korea plans to establish its own independent research and development program without hastening the technology transfers necessary to improve their nuclear weapons capabilities.
“Based on collaboration agreements in various sectors, the government does not believe that bilateral technology transfers or joint companies between our countries must cease only for the end of the war.

North Korean authorities remain determined to strengthen the defense of the country without depending on foreign nations, at the same time deepening its military alliance with Russia.
