The Israeli Party Ocma Jehudit returns to the government after the restoration of fighting in the Gaza Strip, which has already claimed a number of victims.
Israeli far right -wing Jewish force (Ocma Jehudit) Itamara Ben Gvira will return to the government coalition of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday after the renewal of the Gaza’s attacks. TASR refers to AP reports and The Times of Israel (Toi).
Ocma Jehudit and Netanyahua’s party Likud announced this in a joint statement. The original positions of the three ministers should return the current members of this party, including Ben Gvira, who was the Minister of Public Security.
The party left the government coalition in January as a sign of disagreement with the signing of the ceasefire agreement with the Hamas Palestinian movement.
Ben Gvir welcomed the restoration of military operations in the Palestinian enclave on Tuesday morning in the social network post. “We welcome the return of the State of Israel (…) to the intense fights in the last months when we withdrew (from the government), it must return to the Gaza Strip.
Israeli Defense Minister Jisrael Kac announced on Tuesday night that Israel “restored fighting” in the Gaza Strip. He plans to continue the attacks until all the remaining hostages are released. The Ministry of Health, under the administration of the Palestinian militant movement Hamas, announced that more than 400 people lost their lives and more than 560 suffered injuries.
In the Gaza Strip, there was a ceasefire from January 19, suspending more than 15 months of war between Israel and Hamas. However, the first phase of the ceasefire was officially ended two weeks ago and both sides did not agree on its continuation or the second phase.
