US President Donald Trump said he was naming Bryan Bedford, a longstanding airline executive to lead the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Bedford acts as Chief Executive at Republic Airways, a regional carrier for several of the leading US airlines.
“Brian brings more than three decades of aviation and executive leadership for this fundamental position. He will work with our excellent Secretary of Transport, Sean Duffy, to strongly reform the agency, protect our exports and ensure the safety of almost one billion annual passenger movements.
