“The unpreparedness of military police officers during the approach based on abuse of authority against Lucas Almeida, who according to recorded images, has at no time offered the life or physical integrity of the military police involved in the case,” says the representation of the deputy, who asks the conduct to be investigated.
The police claimed that they approached Lucas after seeing him in a suspicious attitude, moving in a car. He would have resisted the approach and tried to take the gun from one of the police.
According to Valente, the case is part of a sequence of episodes of police officers in the state. “The murder of Lucas is not an isolated incident, but a consequence of an acting mode based on the conflict and use of the excessive force, which promotes deaths and the violation of fundamental rights,” he said.
The parliamentarian asks in the action to remove the position and liability measures against Tarcisio.
