AME Jardins, an association that represents residents and traders of this region of the capital, will make a debate on public safety next Monday and changes in the metropolitan civil guard, which the city of São Paulo wants to transform into.
The meeting will start at 7 pm at the Image and Sound Museum. Among the confirmed participants are Orlando Morando, City Secretary of Urban Security, José Eduardo Jorge, Delegate of the 15th DP, Márcio Nogueira, Major of the Military Police, Enos Luiz da Silva Corrêa, Captain of the Military Police, and Leonardo Garcia, GCM Division Inspector.
“Recent episodes, such as the tragic death of cyclist Vitor Medrado, show the urgency of effective measures. The event is an opportunity to collect concrete actions and strengthen the dialogue between the public power and civil society,” says Fernando de Sampaio Barros, president of AME Jardins.
