The parties of the possible subsequent government coalition, the Christian Union (CDU/CSU) and the Social Democratic Party (SPD), sought and finally achieved the voting of the relevant constitutional changes by the outgoing House, as a two -thirds were required by the new two -thirds. For Germany (AfD) they will have the so -called “majority of negativity”. The CDU/CSU and SPD proposal was also supported by the Greens today, having previously ensured that 100 billion euros will be donated to climate policies.
Changes should now be approved by the end of the week by the Bundesrat.
