Government wants orientation classes for family reunification for all of Austria

Vienna – Children and adolescents who come to Austria via family reunification should first spend some time in so -called orientation classes. Only after they were given first knowledge of German and basic skills for school attendance, they should come to a regular or German funding class. Similar models are available in Vienna and Vorarlberg, and the Ministerial Council is to be used to develop a nationwide model on Wednesday.
