Vienna – The inflation in Austria was 3.2 percent in February and was therefore the same as in January. In its quick estimate two weeks ago, the Statistics Austria still assumed 3.3 percent. Compared to the previous month of January 2025, the average price level in Austria increased by 0.6 percent. Electricity in particular was strongly more expensive in the year, but services also became more sensitive.
