Do not regret centimeters, flowers are more beautiful
Maybe you are happy about every centimeter that your herbs and shrubs in the garden will postpone. But if you leave most of them – including the oleander – growing literally like wood in the forest, you will not see anything other than sparse, pulled and fast aging pieces without much flowering. Therefore, rather get away from the excessive consideration and anxiety and tastes. Oleander will be beautifully compact, dense, healthy this year and bloom as a race.
The right time …
The ideal time to cut the oleander is in the spring, specifically in March to April. Why then? There is no science. There is no longer a threat of morning frosts, which could be more easily damaged by a momentary weakened plant, but even a full vegetation season has not yet come, and so it is only gradually waking up to this year’s life. The procedure is clear
The oral cut will follow the same rules as most other plants that require such repeated interventions. First, consistently remove all damaged, dry and apparently ill branches. They have nothing to do on the bushes and there is no sense to hope for their rescue. And on?
