Representatives of the opposition criticize Samuel Migal’s nomination for the head of the investment department. SaS chairman Branislav Gröhling described this as a shame for Slovakia and proof that the rebellious deputies were only “spots” and not people.
“We must not forget that the rebellious deputies of the government coalition obediently voted for all controversial proposals, including an amendment to the Criminal Code, a consolidation package or a transaction tax. Over the past months, thanks to them, the coalition has repeatedly raised in internal political disputes, which eventually calmed down by the appointment of new ministers“Gröhling stressed.
PS Michal Šimečka, chairman of PS, stated in this context that the rebels in the coalition will be more and less and less. “Rebeling migles could choose between their own face and features. They chose functions as before, when voting on the Criminal Code or RTVS, ” evaluated.

President Peter Pellegrini is supposed to appoint Samuel Migal on Wednesday at 4.30 pm as Minister of Investment, Regional Development and Informatics. At the same time, he should accept the resignation of the current head of the resort Richard Raši (Voice-SD).
Fico signed an agreement on Tuesday (March 18) with the non-attached deputies Migaľ and Radomír Šalitroš, who were excluded from the voice-SD. According to him, the agreement creates the conditions to ensure a stable majority of the government coalition in Parliament.
